Danaa hits very hard, we know that. He can also maintain a high striking volume. His takedown defense is not the best, but I like the fact that he went to Fight Ready to train. That’s the place you want to be in if you want to improve your wrestling. I think Cody can take Danaa down, but I don’t think his top game is good enough to be able to hold down Danaa. Brady’s striking is a liability. In both of his UFC fights he has been outstruck despite having good amount of control time on the ground. Now can Danaa finish Brady? At +150 Danaa ITD I don’t know if I want to find that out. I don’t hate if you took Danaa to win. Pick: Danaa.

Silva vs. Priscilla

I actually find Karine’s striking and grappling to be high-level. Priscilla is tough and always moves forwards, but I think it plays well into the counter-striking game. She can absolutely rock anybody standing with that power, and her subs are spot on. Pick: Karine ITD.

Marshall vs. Gomis

This is dog or pass type situation. I understand the enthusiasm around Marshall, but there is not enough data to warrant -210. Gomis is pretty strong and I actually wouldn’t be surprised if Gomis takes Marshall down at some point in the fight. I like Gomis’s head kick and hooks, especially against a fight who leaves his chin as exposed as Francis. Pick: Gomis.

Usman vs. Tafa

I don’t know about this fight. I think Usman is fighting Tafa at the right time. He is only 4-0, Tafa is, maybe If Mo grappled more I would have given him an edge, but this is a pick’em fight for me. I like Tafa to win however, he is much younger and will be making good improvements fight to fight. Pick: Tafa.

Rosa vs. Dumont

Rosa simply has more ways to win the fight, but it’s very hard to trust her. Nonetheless, I like the fact that she can mix things up whereas Norma is mostly a striker. Pick: Rosa

Yahya vs. Jackson

Glenn vs. Giagos

I see some love for Giagos here, but the problem is that Glenn takedown defense is pretty good and he is very crafty on the ground. Plus, Rick’s boxing is pretty clean. Pick: Glenn
